Once this additional 28,371 square feet space finishes, the company will have a total of 15 floors totalling to about 426,000 square feet from both the Gragg and Woodward buildings.
MetLife currently occupies all the floors in the 10-story Gragg Building and will also own the Woodward’s first five floors. Twin buildings, Gragg and Woodward Buildings, are situated in the northwest area of Ballantyne Commons Parkway and North Community House Road.
According to MetLife’s spokesman, the company will be vacating their space from the Richardson building in Ballantyne as they take the fifth floor at Woodward Building.
In March this year, the company has opened their retail division headquarters in Ballantyne. Such move made an additional 1,386 job opportunities in Charlotte.
