Mountain Brook Subdivision Homes...
Selling Your Home in Mountain Brook?
Mountain Brook is one of Charlotte's most popular neighborhoods. Its area is much hillier than the rest of Charlotte. It has sweeping wooded hillside views, valleys, and streams. It has curving meandering streets and the neighborhood is designed in harmony with the unusual geography.
Mountain Brook is located five miles south of Uptown Charlotte. It is bordered by Sharonview Road to the north and Carmel Road to the east. Its two main entrances are located off of Sharonview.
Around every bend, you will find attractive homes, including several mid-century modern gems. Houses in the community tend to be sited at angles to the street and in other non-traditional ways, sometimes even perched on pole-and-beams.
Most of the homes in the community were built between the mid-1950's and the early 1980's, with peak construction in the 60's and 70's. Many homes were custom-built and usually have at least 4 bedrooms. The lots in the community are large and wooded and tend to be about a half acre. Many have steep slopes.
Mountain Brooks is located near Southpark Mall, Phillips Place, Piedmont Row, Whole Foods, and other shopping and dining destinations in Charlotte.
Mountainbrook Club, a family-oriented private club with excellent facilities for both swimming and tennis, is also located in the community of Mountain Brook. The club features 4 lighted tennis courts, swimming and wading pools, men's and women's locker rooms, and courtside and poolside seating and tables. They also offer a variety of programs including recreational swimming, a swim team, swimming lessons, summer camps, recreational and league tennis, and tennis lessons.

“We are thrilled with the level of service that Nancy Braun and her co-agent Jessica Sinski gave us when they sold our home! They are an excellent team! They did an open house for starters and booked many showings each day. They got our home under contract within a few days! We ran into some unexpected issues when our home was inspected that lead to our buyers backing out of their contract without even allowing us to see the report so Nancy immediately gave us a list of contractors and businesses to call upon to assess our issues.
Then she turned around and got two more contracts on our home within 24 hours from people who had made previous offers! All the various work that needed to be done was very swift and the next inspection went great thanks to the pros Nancy referred us to. The beauty of having two agents to deal with enabled us to have a constant open line of communication through phone calls and emails that made the experience of selling a home a very pleasant one!”
