“We are thrilled with the level of service that Nancy Braun and her co-agent Jessica Sinski gave us when they sold our home! They are an excellent team! They did an open house for starters and booked many showings each day. They got our home under contract within a few days! We ran into some unexpected issues when our home was inspected that lead to our buyers backing out of their contract without even allowing us to see the report so Nancy immediately gave us a list of contractors and businesses to call upon to assess our issues.
Then she turned around and got two more contracts on our home within 24 hours from people who had made previous offers! All the various work that needed to be done was very swift and the next inspection went great thanks to the pros Nancy referred us to. The beauty of having two agents to deal with enabled us to have a constant open line of communication through phone calls and emails that made the experience of selling a home a very pleasant one!”

The 1st District is nicknamed: The Garden District
Fourth Ward is a premier uptown community bordered by the Tryon Street business and entertainment district, the Elmwood Cemetery, and Trade Street.
Located in the northwest section of Center City, the neighborhood will take you back in time with tree-lined streets, century old homes, and courtyard gardens.
The neighborhood association started as early as 1976, but the neighborhood already existed way back in the 1800s. It used to be home to well-off merchants, ministers, and physicians.
The Fourth Ward experienced a period of decline, but it was restored in the 1970s. The Junior League worked with Bank of America to begin revitalizing the neighborhood home by home.
At present, residents enjoy the combination of a comfortable neighborhood feel and proximity to majority of Center City's dining, culture, and employment.
The Fourth Ward is also home to the Old Settler's Cemetery and a three-acre park, simply known as the Fourth Ward Park. It offers a relaxing retreat from the busy offices and roadways of the other wards. The peaceful area is a suitable place for an afternoon walk, a picnic, or a cycle trip with the children.
Every December, the “Friends of Fourth Ward” neighborhood association hosts the “Fourth Ward Holiday Home Tour.” It is an annual event that showcases the elegant Victorians, urban condominiums, cultural institutions and historic places for which Fourth Ward is famous - all in their holiday splendor.
It is also home to the North Carolina Music Factory, an arts and entertainment complex that includes a 5,000 seat live music venue.
Part of this recent development includes the Spirit Square Arts Center, Time Warner Arena, the Mint Museum of Craft + Design, Levine Museum of the New South, Courtside Condos and the new UNCC (University of North Carolina Charlotte) Academic Building which is part of an Urban Village Project.
